Workwear Revolution Tech was introduced in 2018, when hospitals were starting to require medical scrubs with added antimicrobial and fluid barrier properties. There weren’t many medical uniforms like that available, so Cherokee decided to design a new collection, featuring our proprietary Certainty® antimicrobial and fluid barrier technologies* which are among the most advanced in the industry.

We were able to integrate Certainty technologies into the Revolution Tech fabric, so it would maintain Cherokee’s signature softness, breathability, and two-way stretch, while giving it smell-and- spill-resistant powers against everything from body odor to coffee mishaps to unwanted fluid droplets.

The fluid barrier magic leaves liquids high and dry, helping keep scrubs looking and feeling clean and fresh. Most fluids bounce off the fabric swiftly and efficiently, instantly repelled by its no-nonsense barrier. Many others can be easily dabbed away before they soak through. And Certainty’s fluid barrier also helps keep your white lab coat or light-colored scrubs stain-free.

Workwear Revolution Tech fabric also features our proprietary Certainty antimicrobial fabric technology, which eliminates bacteria that cause odor and fabric degradation. It starts working as soon as it comes in contact with the bacteria, and provides continuous protection for the garment all shift long.

Best of all, you can machine-wash and dry your Revolution Tech collection scrubs and lab coats without worrying about the fabric technologies wearing off. They are designed to last for the life of the garment, which like most scrubs, is typically about 52 machine washings.
